Context
In Benin, event organisers still largely sell at the door and count votes by hand. International solutions assume a bank card the audience does not have, and access control that assumes stable connectivity at the gate.
Challenge
Three distinct problems arose at once: collect payment without bank cards, guarantee the integrity of contests where every vote is paid — and therefore contestable — and admit hundreds of people without creating a bottleneck at the gate.
Response
Payment runs through Mobile Money, with instant email confirmation and a unique QR code per ticket. Access control is done by scanning from a phone at the gate: no paper, no double entry. Voting contests rest on real-time verification and validation of each vote, with instant rankings — the organiser can defend the result. A dashboard brings together sales, revenue and attendance tracking, live during the event.
